The complete human being

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. KJV — Genesis 1:27"

You were designed to be a living child of God. He fashioned you to enjoy the fullness of His love. Sadly, mankind struggles to understand just what this truly means. This is why we read, "And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see." - Revelation 3:14-18, KJV.

In the garden of Eden, man was happy. Then Satan tempted our forefathers to use something - something we supposed could make us happier.

Unfortunately, it came at a terrible cost. In turning away our eyes from God, we lost all life was meant to be. Moments later, I found myself naked, broken and alone. Mankind ran from the presence of God. Heaven became the heart of hell. His love revealed all we had lost. His power now revealed all we feared. God became a demon to our weary eyes. So we ran.

Since that day, all we've dreamt of was to fill that void. We fashioned robes of money, pride and strength. Our every moment lived to find a shadow of that dream. But the more we tried to fill that space, the more our actions hurt our souls. Clinging to the merciless blades of pain, mankind shreads through our own hearts and souls. Suffering and hardship shapes each day, as we toil to live a senseless life.

For you see, my friend, no human touch can ever give the beauty that comes from the heart of God.

It is written, "Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." KJV — Hebrews 4:11-1

Yes, God understands you completely! Finding yourself through His care and guidance is the fulfillment of Hebrews 4. This is the heart of true worship. The Bible is about an almighty God who is willing to die for you. What difference can His guidance make in your life today?
