The human body is a finely tuned machine. Its abilities enable the person to restore damage, rebuild itself and combat threats posed to the system. Its resilience enables me to cope with a fair amount of stress.

Sadly, modern day living has pushed us past the safety threshold.

Never before in the history of mankind have our bodies taken the strain they do today. Genetic conditions, disease and sickness plague the world. Millions are dying, billions are struggling and the majority of our people live in emptiness. Death has become an oasis that lures us forward with the hope of escape.

We need a Savior.

It is written, "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" - 1 Corinthians 6:19, KJV.

Life is much more than a precious gift. My existence is an investment made by the God of heaven and Earth. Scripture explains, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." - Revelation 4:11, KJV.

Yes, you belong to Him! You were formed for a Divine purpose. God created you for His happiness. This is why we read, "For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell..." - Colossians 1:19, KJV.

My health lives within Him. He is the Alpha and Omega of your existence. Only the One who formed you understands you well enough to bring you full healing and vitality.

Nature, originally, supplied all our needs. Through it, we discovered eight important factors that contribute to your physical wellbeing. Using the first letters of each of these principles, we have created an acronym called NEWSTART. Using these powerful tools, we have enabled thousands of people from around the world to receive a new start. We would like to invite you to find that refreshing grace in your life today.

NEWSTART stands for: Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunlight, Temperance, Air, Rest and Trust in God.

Modern day diets are deadly to our wellbeing. The reason for this is twofold. Firstly, today's food contains toxins and substances that are harmful to human life. Secondly, most diets today lack the nutrients and energy demanded to sustain and propagate human growth and development.

Overcoming these problems are rather simple. At our lifestyle center, we supply our guests with high quality, plant based meals. This eliminates most sources of poison, while maximizing the nutrient supplies available to the body. This is why we read, "And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat." - Genesis 1:29, KJV.

Exercise is just as important. Without it, the human muscles weaken, energy supply is limited and blood circulation deteriorates. Through a vigorous exercise program, your body enhances every single part of your body. It does so through the process used to supply the muscles with the energy and oxygen demanded to maintain the workout. In addition to increasing the blood flow and organ function, these programs also cleanse the blood vessels, increase lung capacity and speed up the metabolism. Wellness demands physical activity. Your survival depends on your fitness.

Liquid is of vital importance. Water is the means through which the nutrients and oxygen is transported in the body. In addition, hydration levels are vital to the digestive, detoxification, emotional and cognitive functions.

Sunlight aids the body in fighting infections, viruses and bacteria. Sunlight is a natural sterilizing agent. It further reduces cholesterol, produces vitamin D and aids in stabilizing blood pressure. Sunlight is a natural tonic, reducing stress and stabilizing biological rhythms.

This is where Temperance comes in. Yes, excessive sunlight is dangerous - but so is too much exercise, water, rest and even healthy food. Too much of anything good is bad for you. A balanced life is essential for your wellbeing.

Fresh Air is equally important. It benefits every single organ within the human body. Oxygen increases energy levels, improves cognitive function and reduces blood pressure. This is why breathing exercises are so important to your wellbeing.

Rest is the mechanism through which the body focuses its energy on restoration and improvements. Sleep also offers us the time to store information through dreams. Hence we find that six to eight hours of sleep boost mental abilities, improves emotional stability and creates a sense of wellness.

Perhaps the single most important aspect of human wellness rests within our relationship with our Creator. Trusting in Divine care and guidance enables the believer to find a stability, hope and peace that transcends the darkest night. Beyond the nightmares, fears and pain ravaging this world below, lives a source of power that can carry your dreams and motivate your actions.
